*High in the sky, leaving Mirai in their Dragon-Fly D-Tank Ivan And Kleinegreifmon began to contact Stone on their comms system* Ivan: Hey Stone, I heard we're supposed to meet a Rashid guy before we can continue into the Opyt Desert. Do you know where we can find him? (OOC: I am SO sorry for being so late with this, please forgive me T T)

OOC: ^^; No prob, let's just do this quickly, we're moving ya know. Stone rode in his Kaisder D-Tank, sitting back as the autopilot did the job of driving. Stone: He's not hard to find, he's in a small settlement before we enter the desert.

Ivan spotted a small cluster of buildings before what seemed like an endless sea of sand and spoke into the comms device. Ivan: Hey, there it is! Come on Stone let's go get the sand sheild we need. Besides I heard Miss. Nagi say you had business with Rashid anyways. Ivan turned his head to where Kleinegreifmon was sitting. Ivan: Kleinegreifmon we're heading down. Kleinegriefmon: Righto. Ivan grabbed hold of the D-Tanks controls and started their decent.

Stone's D-Tank stopped short of the town. He and Holymon, decked in cloaks, jumped out of the D-Tank and walked towards the largest building. Stone: Kaiser. Shields. The D-Tank glowed, then blended in with the surroundings.

Ivan's D-Tank landed close to Stone's, just short of the cluster of buildings. He and Kleinegreifmon jumped out quickly so as to catch up with Stone and Holymon. Ivan: I guess I don't have to ask which build Rashid's in. Ivan and Kleinegreifmon quickly followed Stone towards the cluster's largest building.

Rashid greeted them inside. Rashid: Ah, Stone! It's been awhile old friend. Stone: It has indeed. How's the wife? Rashid blushed, looking up with a smile and a sigh. Rashid: *sparkles* The baby's expected in a week. Stone: ^^; Proud of your kid before she's even out of the womb. Anyway, I need passage into the desert. Rashid: Ah, you want a Sand Shield? No problem. One for you and the boy, correct? Stone: Exactly. Also, I need to talk with you about that project I've been working on. Rashid: Ah..the PROJECT. Stone: After we return from this mission, of course. Rashid: Of course. *looks at Ivan* Welcome, young warrior. I'm Rashid if you couldn't tell. WHo might you and your partner be?

Ivan looked up at Rashid who was much taller than him and spoke. Ivan: Nice to meet you Rashid. I am Ivan Tenkaasuu, and my buddy here is named Kleinegreifmon. Kleinegriefmon: Hiya Rashid nice to me- ^_^ Ooooh... Kleinegreifmon turned away to look at a shiny weapon on a table near by. Ivan: Forgive him Rashid, sometimes he has a short attention span.

Rashid: Hm? Ah yes, the Skylink Sword. Nice little artifact, found it in a temple within the desert. Wanna try it out?

Before Ivan could answer Kleinegriefmon swiped up the Skylink Sword with a twinkle in his deep blue eyes. Kleinegreifmon: Sure I'd love to try it out. so cool... Ivan: Well, as you can see we'd love try it out. Now then, are we ready to head out?

Stone: *grabs the Sand Shield* Let's move. Holymon: ...hn. Stone nodded to Rashid, and left the building, Holymon in tow. Stone: Keep your Sand Shield up. If the hot sand gets into your Digivice, you won't be able to use any of your partner's abilities.

Ivan: Alright, so where is this batch of ruins Miss Nagisa mentioned?

Stone: North of here. It's only a couple miles but the problem comes down to the defense at the entrance.

Ivan looked at Stone oddly. Ivan: Defense, at deserted ruins? What, like Dronea or booby traps? Kleinegreifmon: Whatever it is bring it on!

Stone: Booby traps, ancient guardians, stuff like that. Nothing out of the ordinary. Holymon: For us anyway. Try not to slow us down. Stone: T_T Holymon, behave.

Ivan: It's fine. Kleinegreifmon and I have only gone on one mission not counting the opening the pickle jar one so we know we're new to this kind of thing. Kleinegreifmon: Alright so lets head out! Kleinegreifmon had already gotten inside Ivan's D-Tank. Ivan: Now then, let's get moving. Ivan climbed into his D-Tank and installed the Sand Shield and started drive away. Kleinegreifmon: Yahooo!
