D.Valkriemon swooped low to dodge all the attacks. Higa cackled insanely now. Not evily, maniacally, or what not, purely insane now as he began to fly circles around the two.

Derryn: ... Damn... Laryomon: ... Derryn: I'm just about spent... In fact, I've gone long over my usual limit, any more then a single weak Kuuhazan and I'll Burn for sure... Any plans? Laryomon: ... (Fades out) Derryn: @_@ WHA!?! At some point before Derryn had started speaking, Laryomon got his second wind And it was no laughing matter either, he had called upon all the remaining strength in his body to achieve speeds unheard of even to him, catching the thrown Angelic Lancer in the blink of an eye, and intersecting himself square in the circle Dark Valkriemon was circling around in, at the speeds the Dark Digimon was going at, evasion would be nearly impossible. Especially when it's an energy charged Holy Lance being used as an object with the sole purpose of utterly piercing through it's body. Laryomon: This One will NOT FALL to such as you! Feel the strength of our will! AND FALL TO THIS BLADE!!!! With a roar, he blasted forward at the same speed he caught the Lancer with, and charged at Dark Valkriemon, no thought given to his own safety, the only thing filling his mind was the total destruction of the devil standing before him...

Evasion for one person was impossible. ...for TWO however. The quickly became the case as Higa and Siplhymon split off, avoiding the lance and compiling back into D. Valkriemon right behind Laryomon. Higa: VWAHHAAAAA!!! Higa performed a spinning kick at Laryomon, trying to connect with his head.

Laryomon: (Tilts his head back and evades the kick, countering with a strike from the Angelic Lancer) Derryn! There is still something you can do here, correct! Derryn: There... Ah... I see... (Pulls otu his V2X and goes through it's data) Digimod! 5xShining, 10xGale And... Digimod! 5x Lance! Laryomon: DNA Accepted! (Flares out his wings, which take on a dark blue hue, and begin crackling with light energy, he also reforms his other lance, looking much more imposing then before) Shining Wing! Invincible Spear! I won't lose to you! (Does a spinning slash with the new weapon on Dark Valkriemon, brushing the empowered wings at him as well)

D. Valkriemon pulled his sword, blocking with it while sending his other claw at Larymon. The sword he was using began to crack.

Derryn: It's working! I'm not finished! Digimod! 10xShield, 5xLight! Laryomon: (Backs off slightly and tosses the Angelic Lancer at D.Valkriemon again) DNA Accepted! Valiant Shield! (Forms a silver shield with the DNA, and blocks D.Valkriemon's claw, going in with another slice with the Invincible Spear)

D. Valkriemon dodged the Angelic Lancer but it pierced one of his wings. He blocked the shield and his sword shattered, leaving him to hold it back with his guantlet. He blocked the Invincible Spear with his other guantlet, now that cracking. Higa: DIE DAMMIT!!!

Derryn: No, there's still too much we both need to do... This ends here, you shouldn't have accepted that Dark Digivice... Laryomon! Laryomon: Make your peace with your masters... (The Shining Wings start giving off energy, and Laryomon blasts forward at D.Valkriemon, hammering out with the Valiant Shield, and going to follow it up with a full powered, charged Invincible Lance stab.)

D. Valkriemon knocked the shield up and away, but failed to remember about the spear. *SHUCK!!* D.Valkriemon suddenly floated there, looking shocked. The spear had gone right through his chest. Inside his frame, Higamon was with a hole in his chest as well, face in a shocked expression, unable to even go into agony at the speed of the move. The Digimodded spear began to digitize as D.Valkriemon plummeted towards the ground, and finally exploded into code on the way down, taking Higa with him. The Shadow Digivice remained for a moment, then shattered.

Laryomon: So it ends... (Flickers a few times, and then returns to the Torimon level) @_@;;; That was too close... And I'm hungry! Derryn: @_x;;; This isn't exactly the best time for that... (Limps over to where Torimon is, and then plops down on his back next to the Digimon) ... So... Torimon: ^_^ Thanks for getting me out of that guy's grip! Derryn: Hey, we're partners, aren't we? You backed me up by taking him down. Torimon: Yep! So... How are we supposed to get back? Derryn: Well, first we're going to rest for a while... Then when I've got enough juice back, I'm going to use my first advent to get low enough to call the Dragonfly... We'll take it from there ^_^ Torimon: Yep! Derryn: Oh yeah, seems I managed to save these from getting damanged too... (Pulls out the two Wing Keys, and looks at them both) I wonder what that Pegasus thing it mentioned was... Must be something major, considering all the trouble we went through to get these... Torimon: (Snore) Derryn: ^^;;; Asleep a little quick, aren't you? (Returns the Wing Keys to his jacket) Ugh, I'm tempted to make a cynical remark here... But I'm not keen on prodding fate with a stick, I'll just lie here and count clouds for an hour or so... (Yawns, and winces) Ouch, that was too close...
