The aerial Digimon were suddenly swept every which way by a tornado, knocking them into pieces of the fortress. What rose above the clouds was a Valkriemon, much darker color tones and much larger than normal. D. Valkriemon: *grins maliciously* So that's why I couldn't get the relic here. Nice job, Alectai, your services are appreciated.

Derryn: (Open mouth and pointing) -.- (Passes Laryomon ZZ20) Laryomon: This One Thanks You. (Drops it into a subspace pocket) Derryn: Now that that's over with, any idea how we take down a juiced-up Ultimate? Laryomon: One is unsure, we had had considerable trouble with that last Valkiremon we did battle with. Derryn: Right... Typical battle plan then? Laryomon: Little other choice. Jetstream Strike! (Goes for a high-speed attack using the Angelic Lancer) Derryn: Cross Kuuhazan! (Fires the attack off in Laryomon's wake)

Valkriemon grinned as he waved his hands in a cross formation, the left grabbing the Angelic Lancer, and the right grabbing Laryomon by the neck, then using him as a shield for the Kuuhazan. Higa(Within Valkriemon): You'll have to do better than that to match the likes of us, Alectai!!

Laryomon: Keh... More powerful then expected... (Destabilizes slightly from the impact of the Cross Kuuhazan) Derryn: @_x You OK? Laryomon: This one will be fine, (Charges up energy all over his frame, and starts trying to break free by destabilizing D.Valkriemon's grip)

D. Valkriemon grinned as the Dark Aura clasped around Laryomon's throat. Higa: Have a seat, Derryn ol' boy while I crush your partner!!

Laryomon: (Choking, obviously) Derryn: (Grimaces) Damn, much as I'd like to hide it, I'm worried, Laryomon isn't strong enough to break out of an Ultimate's grip, especially when it's empowered with Dark Aura, and though Dariumon might have more luck, I have the most nagging feeling that he's expecting that... Then again... How much would he be expecting me to come in? He's got Laryomon as a shield, but if I aim a Reppuu right, I might be able to break that grip of his... It's chancy, but the only thing I can think of "Laryomon, you won't be getting killed here... Alectai Ryu Kenjutsu! REPPUU!!!!" He leapt at Dark Valkriemon, his blades coming forward, and aiming for the arms that were currently trying to Throttle Laryomon. Laryomon: (Preparing for any flinch that would allow an escape attempt)

D. Valkriemon: Idiot. DARK NEGATE! Derryn had flown fight into the attack., this time much more concentrated than wide spread. His Reppuu had been negated, and his Zeo shut down, though only for a few seconds. (one post)

Derryn: (Losing his balance from the Zeo Loss, and falls to the ground, skidding from the high speed and rolling a few times, getting back up afterwards though and continuing his advance) So? You've taken out my Zeo... It doesn't matter, if I have to, I'll pull you down with my bare hands... Let... Him... GO... (Pulls out a slew of daggers, and tosses them at various places on D. Valkriemon)

D. Valkriemon threw Laryomon at the daggers, cackling at Derryn's futile attempts at attacking him. Higa: Just lie down like a good dog!! D. Valkriemon fired off a large black blade of energy, sending it after Laryomon.

Derryn: LARYOMON!! (Reactivates his Zeo, blasting forward with enough force to blow the daggers off course, and gets between his partner and the energy wave.) I won't allow you to continue this... (Brings up his blades and forms a vortex) Even if I have to burn myself out to take you down! Alectai-ryu Ougi!!! SHIN REPPUU!!!" He spun around in mid-air, brought the blades down on one end, and then just as he turned to D. Valkriemon, he released them into an overwhelmingly powerful Crescent Slash, going head-to-head with the energy blade. Laryomon was currently trying to recover from his latest experience to be of much help.

The energy blade and the Shin Repuu collided, and seemed to struggle against eachother in mid air. However, the dark energy blade began to overwhelm Derryn's attack, and D-Valkriemon was divebombing towards him at that very moment.

Derryn: Hehe... This... Won't... Stop... Me! (Drops his blades, and lands heavily on the ground to try evading the blade now that it had been delayed, giving a quick glance to Laryomon in the process, he then kicks up some dirt on the ground, does a spinkick, and launches a very weak pressure blast to send a blinding cloud of dust into D.Valkriemon) Laryomon: ... I... Cannot let this end here... (Staggers to his feet, and then catches the glance Derryn sent him, shifting his hold on the Angelic Lancer, and throwing it like a Javelin in the wake of Derryn's concealing cloud)

D. Valkriemon spun, creating a tornado that kept the dirt out of his eyes. He caught the Angelic Lancer once more, and launched it at Laryomon in an attempt to delete him. Higa: THIS IS THE END, ACCEPT IT!!!

Derryn: I'm NOT going to accept my end just because some MANIAC tells me it's there! Kuuhazan!! (Makes a slicing motion with his right hand, and tosses a few daggers with the left, causing them to fly in the pressure-blast's wake.) Laryomon: (Flies straight at the incoming Angelic Lancer, spins in mid-air to avoid the point, then catches hold of the weapon again. Spinning back and charging a Plasma Bolt with his free hand, then using that hand to charge the Angelic Lancer before tossing it again)
