Derryn gave a nice friendly laugh "I see! Ms. Nagisa would keep silent about something like that!" And then, with the blink of an eye, he whipped out a Blue Stormer and tossed it as a warning shot across Higa's face. "Only problem is, it was Professor Elgrave who posted up this mission, Ms. Nagisa wasn't involved in it at all. Now why don't you tell me who you really are, and what you're doing here?"

Higa caught the Blue Stormer pretty easily, and crushed it with one hand, opening it back up to reveal dust. He laughed evily, and grinned at Derryn. Higa: You should've stopped pressing when you had the chance, Tamer. The Seal of Sin appeared on Higa's forehead as his Digivice shattered, revealing a Shadow Digivice underneath it. Silphymon gained the same seal, and his arm fully regrew. Higa: Master Daisuke sent me to find the relic here since only a Tamer and Digimon can even touch it, but he knew that you'd be sent to gain it for the labs, so my mission changed to killing one of the Guard Systems major strategists. Silphymon: Too bad, we were just getting along to.

Derryn did a double-take at the words "Major Strategist" and gave a somewhat amused chuckle. "I'm surprised I get that much credit from The Other Side, my plans tend to be tossed out in favour of others!" He hardened his gaze though, and brought his blades into a duelling stance. "Unfortunately, you won't find me to be an easy mark, I asssure you, and I won't lose to you either... Now that you've mentioned what all this hub-bub is all about though, I have to thank you, after I've taken you down, I'll have to see what this Relic is all about! Kuuhazan!!" His blades came forward, and the Pressure Blast was released Laryomon sighed. "One finds this situation to be deliciously ironic, but also states that One will not be defeated too easily." He began channeling his Plasma Bolts into each hand in preparation for the upcoming struggle.

Higa: Meh. DARK NEGATE! Higa extended an orb of energy that suddenly made the pressure blasts die out. The field of dark energy continued to expand. Higa: *grins* I suggest you get flying.

Derryn: ^_^;;; Much as I might like to, I'm half-convinced things won't go well if I fly just this second... (Moves away from the field, using his Second Advent to form a cushion of pressurized air around his feet, and "Slide", while also being able TO take flight if he absolutely had to.) Laryomon assesed Silphymon for a moment, then tossed a Plasma Bolt in his immediate direction, and then another just above the Digimon, about where he'd go if he was going to take to the skies to evade.

The field continued to expand, and cancelled out the plasma bolts Laryomon had fired. Higa and Silphymon simply stood by ready to attack, grinning like cats that had caught turkey sized canaries.

Derryn grimaced, he was quickly running out of land, yet their expressions said QUITE clearly that they'd have the advantage in an Aerial Battle. Then again, if he stayed on this rock, that field would likely be the end of him. "Great, and they don't even look winded from this at all" Derryn thought with a resigned expression, and with a quick jump, took off into the air and tried to fire off another Kuuhazan at Higa from above. Laryomon gained some distance as well, and also took to the skies, and charged his Plasma Bolts again

The Kuuhazan was negated by the field again, but it finally vanished. Higa: Kill 'em! Higa rocketed towards Derryn, creating a sword of dark energy in his hands and laughing maniacally. Siplhymon flew towards Laryomon, Top Guns blazing at the Perfect level.

Derryn: @_x Pretty quick, just like I thought. (Tries to block the sword with one of his blades, and thrusts with the other) Laryomon: (Dodges the Top Guns, and tosses Plasma Bolts in exchange)

Higa vanished and reappeared behind Derryn, much like Laryomon was prone to do, and went into a flurry of stabs at the young Tamer. Silphymon performed a spinning maneuver that allowed him to avoid the bolts while still firing Top Guns.

Derryn: Keh! (Flies up a bit to dodge the thrusts, and then spins around in mid-air and brings both blades down in a vertical Helm-Splitter attack) Laryomon: Interesting move... Jetstream Strike! (Uses maximum speed to evade the Top Guns, and go in for his signature pass-through slice)

The two went past eachother at top speed. Silphymon was now holding Laryomon's lance. Siplhymon: Missing something? *smirk* Higa blocked the attack with the dark sword, and formed a second onein his other hand, moving to stab Derryn with it in the chest. Higa: DIE TAMER!

Derryn: It's not going to be that SIMPLE! (Rather then deflect the attack with one of his swords this time, he brought up one of his feet, and kicked at Higa, releaseing a pressure wave from it that not only served as an attack, but also allowing him to get some distance and regroup) -.- You're eeriely reminding me of Nima, fortunately though, I've been working on fighting those kinds of strategies... Laryomon: Not bad... Not bad indeed... Blank Code!! Plasma Fist!!! (Charges a Plasma Bolt in one of his hands, and uses his maximum speed to charge in and uppercut Silphymon with his enhanced fist)

Silphymon's helmet shattered at that one, the tainted Digimon growling and charging Laryomon again, this time his enetire body surrounded in red energy. Higa: Feh! My power is nowhere near where my master's is now! There's no way you can even hope to defeat me without being at Final Advent! DARK NEGATE!! Once again, Higa called upon the dark field of energy to sweep over the field.

Derryn: Did I say you were as strong as Nima? I just said how your powers eeriely remind me of him, you're nowhere NEAR his level... Besides, you really shouldn't show me the same move twice! Shadow Breeze! Derryn's blades turned black to represent to switch in elements, and he brought them up again. "If that field negated everything, then you'd be dead too if you used it! So... Kuuhazan!!!" (Releases a Wave of Darkness against Higa) "Have a taste of your own medicine!" Laryomon: Your rage blinds you! Jetstream Strike! (Goes to cut him, with claws this time... That, and to take his spear back)
