Derryn: (Taking a look at the directions to the mission point again) Right... This looks like it's the right place... Estinmon: ^_^;;; Shouldn't we take care of the evolving bit right now? We're up awfully high, and your Zeo doesn't work quite as well when the air pressure's as low as this, if you get knocked down, it's a long way down. Derryn: Point taken, Helix Evolution! A few moments later, Torudmon was standing forth, cracking his neck a few times. Torudmon: Been a while since I was in this form.

Hm? Another one? Behind Derryn was a boy with light green hair and a Sky Prism uniform. Next to him was a Hawkmon. Higa: Waitaminute..you're Derryn Alectai, right? ^^ It's an honor! My name is Higa!

Derryn: ^_^ Oh! Pleasure to meet you, you on this mission too? Torudmon: ... A Hawkmon... Derryn: What's wrong with a Hawkmon? Torudmon: I never did get over that battle way back when... They were all Hawkmon evolutions... Derryn: ^_^;;; I see...

Hawkmon: ^^; I best not ask. Higa: ^^; Yeah..I thought I could do it alone but I got kinda freaked when I saw all the Dronae...

Torudmon: Yes, it's a very long, somewhat embarassing story, suffice to say, next time you're offered to get an artifact in Shima Forest by a Child Level with a dubious past... Don't Derryn: ^^;;; Yeah, Dronae'll do that to you, what sorts of evolutions to you have, and what can you do? Why go in all half-cocked when you can have a good plan in mind after all!

Higa: Um..I have Aquillamon..Saberdramon...Angemon...Silphymon...that's about it. ^^; Hawkmon: ^^; I'll keep that in mind.

Derryn thought for a second. "Stick with Saberdramon, go for wide range spread attacks and focus on the small-fry, take out as many as you can, Torudmon and I will deal with the tougher ones... What sorts of abilities do you personally have?" Torudmon: Please do ^_^

Higa: I can fly...basically wind manipulation. My weapons are a pair of laser rifles and a scythe. Hawkmon: So..we gonna head up?

Derryn nodded. "Stick with Saberdramon, if any get too close and try to break up his attack patterns, fry them, and yeah, let's go." He pulled out his blades, and locked them into a cross formation. Torudmon brandished his own spear, and started channeling electric energy in it. Torudmon: Ready? Derryn: ^_^ Anytime, let's rock! The two take the lead into the Dronae group

Hawkmon Digivolved to Saberdramon and flew up, Higa in tow, holding his rifles. The Dronae for the time being didn't notice their presence.

Derryn: Shall we begin then? Torudmon: Let's... Volt Striker!!! The electric blast exploded into the group of Dronae, confusing them somewhat. Derryn: (Bringing his blades out) Cross Kuuhazan!! The pressure-wave immediately followed.

Sabedramon: DARK WING!! Saberdramon spread out his wings, letting out a barrage of black fire intot he confused Dronae groups. Higa simply let off shots from his rifles as he flew around. The Dronae that weren't hit went into a frenzy trying to get organized.

Derryn: Kuuhazan!!! A quick series of pressure-slashes later, a pair of Virgo went down for the count, as Derryn took a quick look at the situation. Yep, confusion and poor organization, at this rate, they should be well down in numbers by the time they get their act together. "Keep it up! It's working!" Torudmon: Rapid Thrust!! (Impales a few lesser Dronae) So... About when will the tough ones show up?

A roar rocked the area. Higa: ;_; You HAD to say that, didn't you? From above them...three MASSIVE Dronae appeared. They were the size of Sentinel types, but had four wings each and many sharp spines. The finishing points were the massive mouths that sent otu sound vibrations. Higa: O_O The heck are those?!?! Saberdramon: I dunno but they don't look fed. O_o;;

Derryn blinked Torudmon Blinked They both looked at each other "It's Your Fault" They both said at once. Derryn: Oh well, can't be helped, we'll have to pull them down. Can't detonate the techie's device until we know what they're here for after all, Care to amp it up a notch? Torudmon: I would say "Yes" Derryn: Double Helix Evolution! (Cue Evolution Sequence) Laryomon moved against the Dronae furthest on the right, and gathered energy in his right hand. "Plasma Bolt!" There was a loud Sonic-Boom heard as the attack went off, and Derryn charged at the one on the left, the Wind Tunnel opened up, and his blades went with it. "Reppuu!!!
