Kiko half-growled, shifting her sword, and looked right at Daisuke. Her face held just the slightest hint of a smirk... Kiko: The world is shit. People hurt other people. You can either join them... or protect the innocent from them. *she shifted, slightly* I chose to guard. I chose to devote my life to keep innocent people safe from harm. Giving that life up if it meant they'd be safe. I have no regrets about the path I chose, Nima. *her sword slipped a bit, making the sound of metal on metal screech through the air* ...Do you? * * * Rogue made his way through hallways. Going over layouts and maps he'd managed to find in his head again. If any of that added up, there'd be a way to open the prison nearest where Wolfgang and Tyranus were. Giving him a direct access route and allow him to carry out his plan. Only a few more turns than expected, but the room's layout looks familiar... The panel should be... *clink-...CLICK... CRACK* Half-busted, cover only. Oh well... As long as the boards are still intact... and functioning normally. Danbiramon slowed to a halt near his partner, who was already swiftly working on a panel in front of him. He watched his Tamer go over everything, and enter codes.... Taken from the computer before he blew it up? Now wasn't the time to ask... Hearing a loud sound of released doors and machinery, something said that Rogue had done something right... and that everything WAS still working... As soon as they had an opening, Rogue and Danbiramon left to join the other Dark Five members as fast as the wind could carry them.

Daisuke: Regrets...? I have no regrets..only that I haven't killed you sooner! Daisuke performed a spinning slash that knocked Kiko's swords up. Daisuke: Allow me to show you the fate of all you Tamers!! *SHICK!!!* Daisuke breathed heavilly now....as he held both swords...right through Kiko's chest. ------------------- A blast of red light erupted out of Devil's Own, the very force of it blowing almost everyone back. The Dark Five members quickly grabbed their closest DigiCores, grinning, and fused them into their Digivices. Wolfgang: Vell dhen, gentleman. Shall vhe? Seth: Let's! I've been waiting a long time for this! Ryota: SHIT! Ryota stopped cold, and put out his Digivice. Ryota: Not if we have anything to say about it! HYPER EVOLUTION!!! Ryota flashed the Digivice forward, then up and energy rocked the area, causing the Dark Five to almost lose their footing. Sworddramon, HYPER SHINKA!!! Red energy swelled around them, and rose into the sky like a pillar, red lightning striking all around them. Daisuke saw this from HammerHead4..and smirked. He looked down at Kiko as he slid his swords out of her, and smirked at her. Daisuke: Too bad..you're just missing the show..

Shinobimon and Nodoka stopped, staring at the light. So too were Blair and Platymon caught like moths to the flame. Adrian and Templarmon gave appriciative whistles, having watched WAY too much anime, such a light show was "wicked" and they just KNEW something kickass was on the way to revealing itself. At the prison, Akelamon had finally reached Hunter, who had tired himself out from keeping his icewall up to keep the prisoners in. Slumped against the big wolf-digi Hunter could only stare blearily into the distance. Akelamon held his head up to see as well.

Valor and Surtimon shieldied their eyes from the light, a terrible sense of deja vu overcame them. Valor: Is this a good thing? Or a bad thing?

Derryn, being fairly close to the epicentre of it all, was actually blown forward a step from the reaction of the Evolution. "Is this the power of one of OUR Ultimates? We might win this one yet!" Dariumon also staggered slightly, but took advantage of the Dark Five's more staggered and distracted condition to take a few shots at them with his Shot Blaster. Enbeli actually tripped on the spot, and fell flat on the ground. "Wow... Strong..." Iworemon gave a weak grin, and started looking around. "Now, if THAT doesn't get all the wrong attention, I don't know what will!"

Sworddramon began to phase out as red and gold armour began to form over Ryota's body. A frame formed around him, and the armour pieces attached to it as the energy continued to surge... ...and take on a dark violet glow. Guy: Waitaminute... WARNING! DNA TAINTED! ABORT!!! The evolution stopped cold, then literally exploded, rocking the ground once more. When the smoke cleared, Ryota and Sworddramon still stood. With one difference...they were covered in violet crystal..just like the mines in Dragon City. Ryota's Digivice lay on the ground in several pieces of metal and circuitry. Ryota could only stare in disbelief. Seth: HA! Nice ain't it? Nima infected both yours AND Nagisa's D-Hypers with the Dark Aura virus! Sworddramon: grr..y..you..sons of.. Rogue: Don't waste your energy. The Dark Aura will infect you faster that way. Now before we were do rudely interrupted. Wolfgang? Wolfgang: Vhy thank you meine freund. DARK HYPER EVOLUTION!!! This time, the three exploded with the same energy pillars, dark blue, violet, and jet black in all of them. In Wolfgang's pillar, he and his Digimon fused into a humanoid shape, very spiky with a flowing yet tattered cape. In Seth's pillar he and Vipermon fused into something not even human, looking like one body with many snake heads. Rogue's pillar was humanoid with massive wings. When the energy cleared out, three large, terrifying forms stood in their places. Wolfgang and Nyxmon has become an armoured warrior, with blonde spiky hair and a black mask that showed only a wide, sickening grin that revealed rows of sharp teeth. The armour was black and silver, edged and spiked in all manner of ways. CHAOTIMON!!! Seth and Vipermon had become a large, grey and black scaled Hydra with six heads, each with a different colored set of eyes as if to signal something. The form was the largest out of the three. BIO HYDRAMON!!!! Finally, Rogue and Kurotatsumon had fused into a dragon knight of dark blue color with more edge than even Chaotimon. His wings were large and black, and green flames seemd through the cracks in his full body armour. His head was sharpened to a point, with a green visor where a mouth would be and a set of fangs leading up to the visor. KUROIMON!!! The Seal of Sin appeared on all their heads, and the Dark Aura had a literal overflow, surging all across the planet and knocking everyone, including the giants, back quite a bit. The only ones that didn't move were Ryota and Sworddramon, who were stuck to the ground. The Seal of Sin phased in and out of their foreheads as they tried to fight the energy. Kuroimon: ..*loks at himself* Free at last... Chaotimon: And it feels simply delicious...*looks at the Guardians* Back in Cyan, as the Tamers fought, all the Dark Digivice users stopped cold..then looked at the sky. Dark Tamers: LONG LIVE SIN!! With that, their Digivices exploded with such force the city was rocked hard enough for buildings to crumble. Screams rose into the air as the city was throttled..

Derryn: (Struggling against the Dark Aura explosion by holding his blades out and calling up a barrier of wind to slow it down) Alright, despite how bad a situation this is, I just can't help but nod at how nice a touch on their part this was, when did THAT happen? Dariumon: (Digging Romulus into the ground to anchor himself) A Dirty trick... Now our situation has worsened exponentionally... Enbeli: (Actually rolling backwards, and bumps into a tree) T_T Ite... Iworemon: (Uses said Tree as an anchor herself) T_T Why does everything have to keep going WRONG! Ari: (Hiding behind a rock with Grevemon) T_T This is too much! Grevemon: Yep, seems like The End as well.

Chaotimon slowly walked up, looking over the remaining group. Chaotimon: hehehe...TEAR THEM APART!!! Chaotimon flung out his hand, and the entire group felt the effects of Wolfgang's inflict....only...it was WAY more powerful then before. Bio Hydramon cackled and each of his six heads spread poison and acid across the entire battlefield. Kuroimon dashed at the group, fire trailing his movements and the earth shaking with each step.

Derryn: X_@;;; GAH! (Loses the fine control needed to stay in the air, and falls to the ground, forming up another wind-barrier to try and keep any acid off, though it was considerably more flimsy looking then the old one. Dariumon: (Staggers as well, but manages to point his gun-arm up and fire a few futile shots in the direction of the charging Ultimates) Enbeli: T_T That Hurts even more!! Iworemon: X_@;;; I fully agree with you... Ari: O_O Wait, hang on, judging from everyone else's reactions, why is it that we've apparently been missed? Grevemon: >_< Don't... Say it... We're either safe from behind the rock, or just beneath notice, just stay down, stay quiet, and maybe we'll sneak out of the torture part and go straight to the nasty end...

«I can see an end...» ~ ~ ~ Kuragarino Kikotsu's eyes went wide as the blades pierced. She looked right at Daisuke. She almost choked out 'why?'... But... that question was sort of already answered... ...So... the last thing she was able to say... with any volume... to Daisuke.. Was something odd... He heard..... Ganbatte..., then.... As her partner slid from Nima's blades, the Digimon screamed the girl's name. Having been knocked around so badly she devolved BACK to Yamikumamon, she had half-expected something bad... but nothing really gets you ready for this one... as she yelled, she moved to run to her partner's side. Yami: KIKO!!!!? Kiko herself held a small.... little... smirk... on that face.... as her eyes felt * * * Izumi had managed to get to Ryota's side just before hell broke loose... She now tried to touch her beloved's arm. Chidramon had been knocked rom the skies and nearby... Suki's face was glued to Kuroimon, and she was sitting on her ass, her own D-Saver had skittered across to her partner; who now protected it by laying on it... feeling ill..... Carrie gripped her staff... knowing who was within that body.... All of the girls felt the pain... Carrie.... Carrie seemed to look more hurt than her body was.... «And I can see a beginning... on the horizon... but it is not clear what kinf of beginning is there... Perhaps this will tell...» ~ ~ ~

Valor: *Dodges the acid by hiding in a trench* Dammit, we get all the luck don't we? Surtimon: Yes, we do all the bad luck in the world. Valor: ... Surtimon: Valor? Valor: Someone long ago said "give me liberty or give me death." If we let the Dark Five win the whole world suffers, the only way they'll do that will be over my dead body. Surtimon: So a suicide run it is? Valor: I'm afraid so old friend. Surtimon: Understood. Valor: DOUBLE HELIX EVOLUTION! Surtimon Geno Shinka! MIDGARDMON Both Valor and Midgardmon charged towards Chaotimon and Bio Hydramon knowing this was a battle they couldn't win but still had the courage to fight on anyway. Andromeda and her partner Hippocrimon suddenly ducked behind the same rock as Derryn and his group. Andy: Dammit. Has anyone seen Valor?

Devon and Noir were trying to recover, they were both close to Ryota and Sworddramon. Devon noticed Izumi approaching Ryota and remembered what was currently affecting him. Devon: Chikarano!! Wait! *semi-tackling her because she was having trouble moving, much less standing* Noirstellamon: It's not safe here!! *with great difficulty, he moved to get Devon*

Hunter: Akelamon, lets go... Akelamon: *nods* SHINKA!!!! SHAMON!!! Hunter, holding onto his partner, flew off towards the battle, he would not let his friends die. **** Iris: we gotta fight... Robomon, do it!! Riot Mode!! Robomon disappeared in a flash of light, reappearing in a dark blue suit with black riot armor, PatShield and PatCrusher ready. Robomon: Riot Mode, Ready. Deploy? Iris: damn stiraght...

Akurei sat straight up in his hospital bed, veins in his face bulging, and screamed. The red-haired boy literally seemed to howl in fear and terror, arms locked tight to the sides of the bed. Akurei: NO!!! NO!!! NOOO!!!! Umbromon: Akurei?! Akurei, what's wrong...?! AKUREI?!? The Shadow Digimon shook his partner... And then the wall exploded, throwing glass, debris, and Umbromon against the wall. Akurei remained, his eyes still wide in shock, as tears trickled from them... --------------------- Sin: <<yes. YES. IT HAS BEGUN.>> The alien cackled in triumph, green lightning flaring from his hands to light his throne room with a hideous glow. Sin: <<it cannot be long now. i will be eternal...my children, i hear your cries. fear not. your god is awake...and your age is beginning! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!>> ---------------------- Chaotimon: HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! REND THEIR FLESSSHHHH!!!! A dark orb of energy flared in Wolfgang's hands, becoming larger by the moment, the same violet, searing color of Nyxmon's beam weapon as it grew. The Ultimate finally pushed his hands outward, screaming his attack. Chaotimon: NIGHTMARE RAPTURE!!! A shockwave of power flew from the orb as it loosed not one, but two, then three, then more beams; one for each Guardian Duo on the field. Bio Hydramon: Foolssssss....yyyoouuuu willl neeeevvvverrrr defeat usssssss!!!!
