Countdown to the End: Threads of Memory and Sorrow...
Location: Cyan City, Chikarano Residence The three shadows moved swiftly through the shadow of night. They made no sound, save the soft hiss of breath, their eyes gleaming yellow in the starless black. They'd been wrong the last time. That would not be so now. Now they were prepared, and angry. The three figures bounded up the steps, the tallest, clad in a black cloak, extricating a tiny orb from its folds. He set it to the door, and the door glowed brilliantly...then opened. A quick motion to the other two, and they were inside. Pios Ara, priest of the Umbromon Clan, looked around apprehensively, eyes gleaming. Pios: Do we know where she is, Luxos?

Luxos: Surveillance said that she specifically said she'd be using her Tamer's place tonight since Chikarano would be with Kenkaku overnight. As for which room, no, Pios-san. I don't know. However, she can't be that hard to find, can she? .....Luxos stopped, and sniffed... She then hurried over to a door; skittering across the floor almost like a rat... Luxos: ....I smell something from here.. ........Aside from the smell of Antonio's pizza and McCracken's shrimp... O_o;

Pios curled his lip in a look half-sneer, half-growl. Pios:...I smell it too...I also smell the Heretic...that filth has been here recently, no doubt, though I can't say when exactly...or what he was doing. Yet where he was, I have no doubt we'll find her. *grins* Now... The priest held up the stone again, and once more the door opened. Pios: Luxos, Davros, go in first. We'll follow. Careful you're not seen.

Apparently not much need to worry about that one at the moment.... Ex was sprawled across Izumi's bed; Bugs half under her; 6 empty pizza boxes, half of a Bucket O' Shrimp.... O_o; .....Yyyyeah. Anyway, she appeared to be out cold. Snoring away; with some shrimp still remaining in the bucket... Luxos: x____X This....?! ........Are we sure... I mean... Absolutely SURE.... survellience has been tailing the RIGHT ExStragomon? T_T

Pios sweatdropped and looked to one of the other Umbromon, who shrugged, as if to say "don't blame me, I just work here." Pios:...There's one sure way to check, from what we know, isn't there? Davros moved forward, carefully turning Ex so her right shoulder was visible; he sneered, and Pios breathed a sigh of relief as they saw a small red mark, in the same style as the red tapestry of marks that wound over each of their bodies. Davros: She's the one, then. The Heretic's little plaything. Pios: *looks disapprovingly at the tattoo*....I would call this mark blasphemous, but I suppose that's to be expected from one such as him...and it's not so much blasphemous as it is insulting. >_< *growls softly, angry* Get her legs. I'll get her head and arms, and we'll secure the cloak around her....I'll have the Orb ready if she awakens. The Umbromon worked quick, and Ex was soon wrapped in a bundle of cloth to be carried...

A thin beam of light hit the cloth, tearing it open and Ex spilling back onto the bed. Stragomon, who had sent the beam, was crouched on the window sill, looking none too pleased. Stragomon: Alright, anyone care to explain what the dragon chick is doing being kidnapped? Anyone? Anyone at all? No answer is too retarded, people.

A chorus of angry snarls met the dragon's appearance. Pios:...This creature belongs to our Rah'makk Haderach, you infidel scum. She *will* be taken to him, and this time you will not interfere. Davros! Exerios! With me! Luxos, Kahlos, you take the female and run! The priest tossed a shimmering, clear crystalline orb to one of his fellows, who picked up Ex bodily, moving to grasp Luxos' claw. Pios looked back to Stragomon. Pios:....Take this message back to the Heretic, infidel. Tell him we have his precious little female, and if he wants her back....then he can come atone for his sins. The yellow eyes gleamed as the priest chuckled.

Luxos: *grinned at Stragomon* Remember when you're alone, not to order out... She then hurriedly teleported with the one who took her claw...

Stragomon: *eyes glow white* Not today! Stragomon teleported this time, and a blast of white light hit the sky as he had set his path before Luxos' own, stopping both their ports cold. Stragomon floated a bit before grabbing Ex, kicking away at Luxos and the Umbromon that was with her. Stragomon: *growls* Ex, now would be a GOOD time to wake the fuck up!!!

There was a chorus of growls as the Umbromon teleported as well. Pios: Shadow Shift! The priest's arms snatched Ex back, his eyes glowing an angry golden. His face contorted in a snarl. Pios:...Davros. Kahlos. Everaos. Kill the little infidel. Luxos, *you* may deliver our message. The Heretic has a right to know where his toy went... The huge, shovel-faced Umbromon grinned, a growl breaking from his throat, as the priest turned with a mocking salute...and disappeared... Davros: With pleasure. Come, brothers...let's make this quick. The two other Kshyatriyai, Davros with them, advanced on Strag, claws at the ready... Davros: Pray for death. Wraith Dive!

Stragomon roared, his eyes going yellow. Stragomon: Why don't you?! WRAITH DIVE!!!!! Stragomon dodged the first Wraith Dive, his own connecting with Davros and sending him into a nearby wall. Stragomon: *growls ferally* GIVE HER BACK TO ME! SHADOW SHIFT!!! Stragomon vanished, and began reappearing and vanishing againa dna again, slashing at the Umbromon trying to surround him. He finally stopped once he was higher in the air. Stragomon: *closes his eyes* Calm down Vicious, control yourself..!!

Davros shrieked his rage as he pulled himself back up....his own eyes glimmering yellow.... Davros:....Sssssssss....How......?! You have our blood....?!? This is the Heretic's doing, isn't it?! >_< Kahlos: O_O;...Reaver, we should go....he...he can use our powers against us! He is a devil! Everaos was clutching an arm...Kahlos was bleeding from several harsh, powerful slashes... Davros:....I won't lose to this FREAK! >_< DEATH CLAW! With a howl, he charged, though Kahlos grabbed his arm.... ------------------- And a few blocks away, the Umbromon known as Thanatos woke up, his own eyes wide with terror. Umbromon:....No. No. Jehalta, let it not be true...

Strag's eyes went yellow again as he teleported, appearing behind Kahlos. Strag: You pay the price!!! Stragomon suddenly smashed his claw into Kahlos' back, and in one cleean yet gruesome move, tore out his spine in the same manner the Umbromon did to their victims.

The Umbromon gave a choked shriek....and then, the Kshyatriya died. Davros' eyes went wide with fury and terror. Davros:...This is not over, devil. We WILL meet again. And I will take your honor as you have taken Kahlos'! Everaos simply grabbed his commander's hand, and the two disappeared in a long-range teleport...leaving Vicious alone...

In the same room where he awoke, he heard a soft little chuckle... Luxos: *her eyes glinted for a moment* Oh but it is, Thanatos... We have the ExStragomon, and there's nothing you or any of your friends can do about it now... We have won this time, despite your best efforts. How could you continually betray your kind as you have? Blasphemous little Heretic...
